Challenge Workshop we firstly attended as a Senior Team, then
subsequently followed similar workshops for all 200+ middle
management leaders across our Plants in UK & US. The impact
of this work was quick and profound on the operational &
financial performance of our business, and the foundation
firmly set for further rapid continuous improvement with a
3000+ workforce previously seen as ‘long-in-the-tooth’
and unable or unwilling to change. Many of the leaders involved
have since seen their careers go from strength to strength
based upon the personal learning & insights gained from
Chris’s work. Based upon these radically different results,
Chris went on to work successfully with other Divisions and
Corporate functions of Rolls-Royce.
Last year
having taken responsibility for David Brown Engineering, and
facing very many cultural and performance issues, I needed
to quickly instill strong Leadership and get my team of 400
believing in the business and its future. I had little time
and probably one chance to do this, and needed to get my Directors
leading with ambition and acting as a true team. I needed
a customised approach and a guarantee of success – so
immediately reached out for Chris’s help. Once again,
he spent time to understand the business, it’s culture
and issues and helped me think through the next steps, including
the individual and collective needs of my team. Based upon
this Chris has facilitated us through a tailored programme
with the Leadership Challenge Workshop as the cornerstone.
This process started last September after which time I have
seen my Leadership team become liberated, discover their true
roles and strengths and started realeasing the potential of
my total workforce. Most importantly, productivity and Sales
Output performance have both increased 20%+, profits are up,
and we have many great people working on more fabulous improvements
than ever before – we are releasing the potential of
our great people, and they are regaining the great feeling
working here!

leadership has been the single most successful thing I personally
and the businesses I have worked for have been engaged in.
