I love the word "Quest"!
It describes perfectly the meaning-filled struggle to achieve extraordinary results. It is what leaders do and it is, in my opinion, a life well led.
Developing leadership goes far beyond a training session, a dose of coaching or a reading a good book. It is a life long journey.

The 2012 TLC iPhone/iPad app is Here!
The Drake Hotel Chicago, August 2011. The assembled Kouzes and Posner Master Facilitators are given a sneak preview of the new iPhone/iPad app which has been designed by leadership coaches to support people who want to use the Kouzes and Posner 5 Practice framework to develop their leadership skills. Jim Kouzes explains to us that more specifically the app is designed to help people turn leadership knowledge into better leadership practice. It does this by following good coaching process: Clarify what needs to be done. Try it out. Seek feedback/learn. Repeat.
First clarify: This app enables you clarify your understanding of the 5 Practices of exemplary leadership by watching video clips of Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner describing the 5 Practices.
Second, try it out: The app will allow you to set yourself reminders for the specific leadership behaviours you want to get better at using e-mail, your calendar or simply writing yourself a note!
Finally, seek feedback & learn: Now that you are practicing better leadership you can use the app to request feedback to check that the people you need to lead are observing the behavioural changes you want to make.
It’s a very useful tool! A bit like having an electronic leadership coach in your pocket. Check it out at the iTune store by clicking on the app icon.
